The founders of better-for-you snack brand RW Garcia, Robert and Margaret Garcia, were recently inducted into the Specialty Food Association’s (SFA) Hall of Fame. Their induction will be honored at this year’s Summer Fancy Food Show in New York City, June 23-25.

The company began in 1982, after the Garcias wanted to bring healthy, gluten-free tortillas to market. Made without preservatives, additives, or GMOS, the tortillas made RW Garcia a household name and earned the brand its Non-GMO project verification. Throughout California, the brand’s popularity has increased and it can now be seen nationwide.
